Tarrant refrigeration - developing new markets
Established for over 30 years Tarrant refrigeration saw a new opportunity in the supply of game larders following a change in the food handling regulations. Although experienced in dealing with butchers and food suppliers Tarrant Refrigeration approached GM for help in what was a new sector for the company.
A marketing plan was agreed taking advantage of the recent changes in the food regulations. Gill Marketing quickly establishing a new website & brand identity. A two tier approach to obtaining new business was undertaken with a new campaign of direct mail to persuade & inform the key decision makers along with highly targeted advertisements and inserts in appropriate titles. A new brochure was produced which was inserted in a number of highly targeted publications.
In addition a programme of outdoor exhibitions and other events was also instigated to increase awareness.
A new website was built www.gamelarder.com and was updated within 9 months of going live as the product portfolio increased with the launch of a self assemble offering. The self assemble game larder was launched at the CLA Game Fair and was entered into the Shooting Industry Awards where it was awarded "Best Game Keepering Product for 2006"
This swift action and capitalising on PR opportunities Tarrant Refrigeration claimed market leadership in the sector within 12 months of entering the sector.
